Dr. Teresa Jeter is the CEO, Governance Guru, and an Organizational Structure & Development Consultant for TMJ Consultants. She holds a PhD in Nonprofit Development and Leadership with a distinctive expertise in grant proposal writing which she deems essential due to funding being a vital component of the nonprofit continuing to make change. With 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Dr. Jeter has established herself as a veteran in the industry with a concentration in community development. She has invested in 100s of organizations to ensure their organizational leadership and development plans can sustain fulfilling their mission while also expanding use of her expertise through teaching urban planning, housing and community development, and grant proposal writing courses at the university level.

Dr. Jeter’s heart to strengthen communities and belief in the nonprofit industry being best suited to do this work drives her to passionately make the process of organizational development into fun impactful changes. Dr. Jeter is expanding her services to offer her signature Jeter Model(c) to help nonprofit organizations become laser-focused on fulfilling their mission, transforming their leadership style and structure to increase organizational success rates, and securing the funding to amplify their impact. 

 

 

 

 Dr. Terry Bailey

 

Dr. Terry Whitt Bailey

 

Dr. Terry Whitt Bailey is a certified nonprofit consultant who is admired as a community activist, arts administrator and advocate for educational equity.  She has overseen millions of dollars in federal funds from the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD),  the U.S. Dept. of Treasury.

Dr. Bailey previously held positions with Ball State University, most notably as the Director of Executive Staff & Administrative Affairs (Chief of Staff) for the Office of the President. Terry has been actively involved in local, state and national organizations and she has received three Mayor’s Community Service Awards, the Indiana Community Arts Leadership Award, the Arts Achievement Award from Center for Leadership Development, the Very Important Volunteer Award (V!VA), the Outstanding Service Award from Muncie Rotary and the prestigious Athena Award from Women in Business Unlimited (WIBU), Inc.

Dr. Bailey currently serves on the IU Health-Ball Memorial Hospital, United Way of Delaware & Henry Counties and Meridian Health Services. In addition, she is an active Rotarian, immediate past-President of the Anderson-Muncie Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a founding member of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dream Team. 

She earned a Bachelors degrees from Rutgers University and her Masters degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  She completed post-graduate work in Management Development at Harvard University, and earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree (D.Min) from Newburgh Theological Seminary.

His expertise for more than 20 years is community development, economic development, census data analysis and mapping, fair housing, real estate development, nonprofit management, and public participation.

Jeffrey has served on the Fannie Mack Housing Advisory Council and the National Fair Housing Alliance’s Board of Directors. He has been a member of the State of Louisiana and national capital chapters of the American Planning Association.
